Los Angeles (ロサンゼルス市Rosanzerusu-shi) is a fanmade character for the manga and anime, Hetalia: Axis Powers. She represents the city (not county) of Los Angeles, California. Her human name was Angela, but she added Carriedo in 1797, when Spain founded Mission San Fernando in her home. She adopted the surname "Jones" as of 1846, when America received her from Mexico.

Appearance[]

Being the second most populated city in the US, Los Angeles is considerably tall for her human age. She wears her dark brown hair back in a ponytail, which is the one thing distinguishing her gender. She has tan skin, perhaps because she was inhabited by Chumash, then Spanish, before the Americans finally moved in. Her eyes are of a brownish hue.

Her outfits usually consist of merchandise for her sports teams. Most commonly, she is seen in a Dodgers hat, a big Kobe Bryant t-shirt that sometimes falls a bit, showing her bra, and some elastic-banded pants.

Personality and Interests[]

Los Angeles is very loud, and especially enjoys teasing her siblings. She tends to pick on San Francisco most often, by calling him "SanFran." However, she is also shown being a hypocrit; she will become angry if anyone picks on her. One word to describe Los Angeles's style is tomboy; she loves sports, roughhousing, video games, and the whole lot of 'em. "Bad Sportsmanship" is another characteristic of Los Angeles, as she often throws a fit whenever she is beaten.

She is usually portrayed as considerably dim-witted due to her bad education system. She also despises when people talk about her high gang rate. Los Angeles tends to be a sports fan. She enjoys baseball and basketball, utterly refusing to admit that the dodgers suck. However, she does brag a bit about the Lakers and the Clippers. Though she doesn't have a football team anymore, she still enjoys spectating the sport and teasing San Francisco about the Superbowl in which the 49er's lost.
