The Faroe Islands (フェロー諸島, Feroushotou) is a fan-made character in the anime and manga series: Hetalia: Axis Powers. In Always With You... Nordic Five!, Denmark mentions that Greenland along with The Faroe Islands and Finland mentioned The Åland Islands are part of the Nordics as their autonomous territories. She received her human name Eivør Jógvansson (イーブル ジグバンッソン, Iiburu Jigubansson).[1]

Appearance
Faroe has long, straight blonde hair and sky blue eyes. She wears the Faroese national dress that is red and black that reaches to her ankles with short red sleeves and held together by a row of silver buttons, silver chains and locally-made silver brooches and belt buckles. Also a blue knitted shawl and apron, a black belt, and black 18th century style shoes with silver buckles and white stockings. The blue apron is designed with motifs in the center and below.[2]
Faroe is sometimes depicted with a black cape (Inside is red) and/or a student's cap and sometimes seen with a shepherd's staff. Her student's cap is white, black and red with two red tassels on the right side.
She has a "cute" face.
She once said she wore knee pads just "in case", shocking Greenland and Åland, and eventually when she fell on her knees, Britain assists her and ask if she's really ok. Her told him not to worry because she almost always wear knee pads outside.
Personality and Interests
A friendly, slightly clumsy and a laid-back young lady. She is more sociable since Greenland had less chance to travel to other Nordics and Åland isn't talkative. When drinking alcohol, she acts cocky, beyond rude but very sleepy that she could easily mistake and misheard many words when spoken to her. Even when reading people's lips won't help her. (Ex. "Faroe! Don't drink so much!" She replies "Sparrow? How can there be a sparrow in the night? And for one thing for everyone here, everyone blinks!!" She has misheard "Faroe" and "Drink" as "Sparrow" and "Blink") She has a habit of pulling back, twirling and playing with her hair when she's nervous or lying. Faroe is sometimes seen to be motherly such as she comfort and looking after Greenland's breakdowns, cries and complains without her complaining. She often likes to travel to warm vacations except Africa, teach knitting and making wool. She acts like a cheerful lady.
According to Greenland, she has a sweet tooth. Her most favourite sweet is chocolate, even if it's not Dairy Milk kind. When choosing over coffee or tea, she prefers tea.
It is said that she loves sheep and wool-made clothing. Her hobby is arranging flowers and designing clothes but knitting is her best skill and hobby that she started as a child. As she appeared to be feminine, she's actually strong when she "feels" like it.

Åland Islands
A close friend and member of the Nordics and their self-made group The Nordic Dependent Islands (Trio). The two see each other more often than either of them seeing Greenland due to living geographically closer, they feel bad for Greenland, Åland is less sociable and have little in common. Åland treats her like a lady.
Britain
When Britain attempt a friendly occupation to the Faroe Islands to protect her from Germany, they immediately became friends and admire each other's company and culture. They exchange gifts such as giving him a lighter and receiving Dairy Milk's Chocolate. Except that Faroe doesn't like his cooking, he was told by America to give her store-bought instead would be best. When she was served fish and chips (store-bought) for the first time, it become her favourite. He complimented on her dress on their first visit. The two get along well. But Faroe is cautiously curious about his connection with America's.
Denmark
She also doesn't see Denmark as her older brother and sees him to be annoying.
Estonia
The NDI doesn't take Estonia's wishes to be Nordic seriously. They were more "Nordic" than Estonia as territories at least and sees him as a stranger rather than a "soon-to-be a new Nordic member".
Finland
They talked to each other on occasions and don't know each other very well as friends. Finland was shocked to see Greenland's costume on Halloween but wasn't aware who's inside until the three fell apart
Greenland
The two also share a friendship bond. The Faroe Islands would send him sweaters she knitted (From Faroese Sheeps) as gifts, much to his annoyance, but tries not to hurt her feelings. She often feel bad for Greenland that he went through so such changes. As for both they had a protector during WWII, hers bring Britain who invaded her islands in a friendly manner and became friends that he taught her Britain cuisine and culture she become to love fish and chips and Dairy Milk chocolate (Which is available throughout the islands, but not in Denmark). Like Åland, their cooperation as a trio is so-so. She is usually the one to comfort Greenland's depressed moments. According to Faroe, whale killing and dolphin killing is part of their culture, Greenland isn't terrified of the whale killing explanation but is surprised when she talked about dolphins are also victims. Even children are there to see such blood.[3] Greenland and Faroe see each other more than with Åland due to being ruled over by the same person. When playing soccer, Greenland gets jealous that Faroe gets to participate, making Faroe feeling pity for him and makes a promise to play soccer together afterwards with Åland. But end up defeating him.
Sweden
Like Finland, the two rarely seen each other and rarely talked to each other because Sweden is often quiet. The Åland Islands is sometimes seen helping Sweden at the Swedish Cafe. In the 2011 Christmas Event, Sweden was surprised to see his three-person costume but got curious of their whereabouts until they collapsed.
